The State’s Basic Skills Initiative’s Learning in Networks for Knowledge Sharing (LINKS) and Berkeley City College welcomes you to a workshop presentation delivered by USC’s Center for Urban Education (CUE) on 19 March from 8:30am-1pm at Berkeley City College in Room 212. (For more information about CUE please check out their site: http://cue.usc.edu/equity_model/.)
Presenters from CUE will demonstrate how to use their Benchmarking Equity and Student Success Tool with cohort migration data available for all Peralta colleges at http://eperalta.org/wp/indev/program-review-equity-fact-books/. Presenters will also discuss “The Typology of Institutional Equity Agents” and “Syllabus Review for Equity and Success”.
To register, please open the attached flyer and follow the link. We look forward to seeing you on the 19th and working together to bridge the gap between the research which identifies systemic inequities in our institutions and the practice to eliminate those inequities.
