The RP Group, as one of the sponsors of the Strengthening Student Success
conference, and the Student Success Regional Networks established by the BSI
professional development grant, are interested in initiatives currently
happening in some California Community Colleges that involve credit courses
for faculty seeking to deepen their knowledge of teaching and learning.
At the 2009 Strengthening Student Success Conference, we heard presentations
from a few colleges/districts that are providing credit courses that faculty
can take to advance their knowledge of teaching and learning. (Credit
courses can be an incentive for faculty development as they can be used to
advance on salary schedules.) We are interested in knowing how many other
colleges may be doing this, or considering doing this. Please take a minute
to let us know using this simple, seven question survey:

Please submit this survey by November 13. Results will be posted for your
information. Thank you for your time!
